King's is only able to accept applicants who will turn 18 years of age before commencing the second year of the Medicine degree

UCAT Requirements

There is no cut off score as UCAT is used in combination with the rest of your application in the shortlisting process. What is deemed a competitive score varies each year and will depend on the performance of other students applying to King's. We are therefore unable to provide an average score.

CBSE

Indian High School Leaving Certificate (from CBSE and CISCE boards only) from Standard XII with 90% overall. Where our online prospectus asks for a specific subject grade at A-level, we would require the following: A* - Achieve 90% in the required subject; A - Achieve 85% in the required subject; B - Achieve 80% in the required subject. We are unable to accept Applied Maths to meet an A level Maths subject requirement. We are unable to accept Biotechnology to meet an A level Biology subject requirement.

British

AAB. Must include Chemistry and/or Biology. If both chemistry and biology are not offered there must be one other from Physics, Maths, Psychology or Computer Science. Critical Thinking and/or General Studies are not accepted. A pass in the practical endorsement is required for any science A level taken. 5 subjects at Grade 9-6 (or A*-B under the old grading system). Must include English Language, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics (or GCSE Double Science and one other subject). If only 2 separate GCSE sciences are offered, an extenuating circumstances application will be required. 5 subjects at Grade 9-6 (or A*-B under the old grading system) minimum. IBDP

35 points including 766 at Higher Level Must include grade 6 in Higher Level Biology and Chemistry. The total point score of 35 includes TOK/EE. GCSE/IGCSE English Language and Mathematics requirement can be met via IB Standard Level/Middle Years grade 5, if not studied/studying at Higher Level

American

555 in three AP subjects ACT at 29 55554 in five APs 720, 700, 700 in three SAT subject tests SATR at 1380 (minimum 620 in Maths and 650 in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) in one sitting 5 in one AP subject and 700, 720 in two SAT subject tests 55 in two AP subjects and 720 in one SAT subject test
